The design of the new winter sports area of Minsk, capital of Belarus, is a multifunctional centre, unique in Europe.
Officially inaugurated on 30th January 2010, the Minsk Arena can hold 15,000 spectators.
There is also a skating stadium and a veldome with a further 5000 seats.
One of the primary uses of the facility is ice hockey, as the building is the home rink of HC Dinamo Minsk and primarily is used for hockey games, figure skating, short-track speed skating and other sports on ice, but is also used for the organization of concerts and other mass performances.
With 3 restaurants, 7 coffee shops, and numerous VIP lounges offering services and comforts for guests.
